Mattress is AWESOME! No smell & not hard at all!!! LOVE IT! I have a Sleep number & after buying this for our 4 yr old & sleeping with him one night I am considering exchanging my $4000 Sleep Number for one of these. And my 4 yr old LOVES it. He has severe dust mite allergies & this mattress is naturally dust mite resistant. GREAT!

I got this mattress for a child. I lay down in bed with him a lot and wasn't comfortable at all until this mattress. It is softer than my tempurpedic, but that doesn't make a difference in the comfort, if anything, I may like it more. It did smell a little for a day, but airs out quickly. I like the zipped cover that it comes with also. Surprisingly comfortable!

My husband and I needed to mattresses for our two guest bedrooms in our new home. We wanted something comfortable and affordable. In our previous home, we did have a memory foam (Braggada). After a lengthy search process on Amazon and outside websites, we locked on to the "LUCID by LinenSpa 10" Memory Foam Firm Viscoelastic Mattress 20-Year Warranty". We were so impressed by these mattresses that we purchased this 8" thick version for a relatives' mobile home as a "thanks" for their hospitality.
These mattresses are vacuum packed, rolled and packed cardboard box. Our Fed Ex guy delivered them one box under each arm. (He was a Samoan who looked like he played football at one point in time. It's always safest to have 2 people to lift a bulky item) When you carefully slice open the plastic, the mattress will expand and there is an odor which dissipates after 24 to 48 hours...With this memory foam mattress, you get support like from a firm bed and yet there is enough softness for people who prefer to sleep in a "marshmellow" like condition. The feedback from guests so far have been, "Wow, this bed is SO comfortable. I need to get one."
We have a Sleep Number Bed in our master bedroom. My husband is a stomach sleeper. I sleep on my back. It is a pricey bed...Hindsight is 20/20. We probably could have saved a lot of money by getting a Lucid memory foam in the first place.
A week ago, I was in a Super K-Mart. They had another brand of memory foam with the same dimensions as this mattress, but cost $50 more.
