Love that it takes up little room in the freezer and don't really have room for a bulky ice bucket. This is certainly more convenient. Looks tasteful enough to put on a nice dinner table yet casual and convenient enough for a picnic. Great for keeping cold during travel as well. Agree with the other reviewer, would not use this to chill a bottle of warm bubbly but to keep it nice and cold it does the job! I have several of these types of chillers for wine bottles. They keep a cold bottle of wine cold for a decent amount of time and are great for bringing wine to picnics, etc. I was hoping this champagne chiller would fit over a 1.5L bottle of wine--it sort of does, but not easily. Wish they made one for magnum-sized bottles of wine.
